Formation Mutation Frequency

What it is

A straight count of hybrid-formation changes per match or season, read off shifts in the team's pass network (PN) shape — an objective, paper-derived companion to the qualitative mutation concept: not just that shapes change, but how often, and whether that frequency is trending up as the model beds in. Concept stage: needs a formation-change detection threshold so PN shifts within noise aren't over-counted.
